"This is the perfect sweet wine. It’s my go to at this point because it’s a no fail perfect sweet wine!" Winemaker notes, found at (https://www.target.com/p/schmitt-s-246-hne-riesling-white-wine-750ml-bottle/-/A-14775910)

Wine Folly

Aromas: Herbs, Spice, Flower, Mineral, Earth, Honey, Honeycomb, Beesxwax, Petrol, Ginger, Citrus Blossom, Rubber, Diesel Fuel

Flavors: Lime, Meyer Lemon, Pineapple, Apricot

Varietal: "This aromatic wine offers primary fruit aromas of orchard fruits like nectarine, apricot, honey-crisp apple, and pear. Besides fruit, you’ll often smell things like honeycomb, jasmine, or lime peel, along with a striking aroma that smells similar to petrol or petroleum wax (a natural compound called TDN). On the palate, Riesling has high acidity, similar to the levels in lemonade."

My Review

I liked this wine as a slightly more dry sweet. It started out tasting flat, but the flavors developed nicely. I did not taste this wine with food, but I will next time. I think it would go nicely with something fruity or plummy.
